Flying to and from Sun Valley just got sweeter!
Mon, Jun 8 2015The Ketchum and Hailey Art Commissions adorns the newly renovated Friedman Memorial Airport with works representing the beauty of the Wood River Valley. This breathtaking and unique exhibit highlights the tremendous talent we have amongst our local artisans, with mediums ranging from sculpture, to paint, to photography.
In a recent press release on the opening of the the exhibit, Claudia McCain, Chair of the Ketchum Arts Commission stated, “We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with the airport to help make this new space as beautiful and welcoming as possible to the traveling public”.
RL Rowsey, Chair of the Hailey Arts Commission added, “We have a tremendous resource of talent here among our local artists and galleries and our collective goal is to integrate art into the community in as many ways as possible.”
This truly is an amazing exhibit, and not one to miss. Be sure to visit the airport before the end of the summer to take in the beauty and creativity firsthand.
